<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cage chamber for an elevator that can improve workability at the time of installation. <P>SOLUTION: A sidewall panel 4 is disposed in a side surface of the cage chamber to form a pair of sidewalls. A wing wall panel 5 is disposed on both sides of a cage access port of the front of the cage chamber. The wing wall panel 5 is coupled with one of the sidewall panels 4, or an end part of the sidewall panel 4 positioned ahead of the cage chamber through hinges 8.
