PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a single-particle film coated-roller, conveniently manufacturable of a single-particle film coated-roller which is a roller coated with a seamless single-particle film.

SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the single-particle film coated-roller includes: an immersion step of immersing the roller 11 in water; a single-particle membrane formation step of forming the single-particle film 12 on a water surface A; and a shifting step of pulling the roller 11 up above the water surface A with the central axis facing the vertical direction, and shifting the single-particle film 12 on a peripheral surface 11a of the roller 11.
