CONSTRUCTION AND REMOVAL METHODS OF SOIL CEMENT COLUMN

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction method and a removal method for a soil cement column that enable simple construction and removal thereof.

SOLUTION: An agitation rod 2 equipped with agitation blades 22 on the outer circumference of a hollow rod 21 is rotated to be inserted into the ground while ejecting a solidification agent 3. A soil cement column 1 is formed around the hollow rod 21 by agitating sediment and the solidification agent 3. A steel pipe 4 having an open end is then inserted in the hollow rod 21 as a support and guide pipe 4. A pile is constructed by pulling up the agitation rod 2 being rotated while leaving the support and guide pipe 4 in the ground. When removing the soil cement column, a hollow auger 5 is fitted to the support and guide pipe 4 serving as a guide and is rotated to be inserted into the soil cement column 1 to pulverize the soil cement column 1 to its bottom end. The support and guide pipe 4 is pulled up from the inside of the hollow auger 5. The hollow auger 5 is pulled up while a backfill soil 6 is supplied through the hollow auger 5.
