<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous 2-pack type clear coating composition having a good polishing operability even under the condition of forced drying, and suitable for forming a clear coated film excellent in finished appearance after the polishing. <P>SOLUTION: In this aqueous 2-pack type clear coating composition containing (I) acrylic resin emulsion obtained by dispersing an acrylic resin obtained by polymerizing a polymerizable unsaturated monomer component in the presence of an organic solvent by separating the monomer as multiple stages, with water, and (II) a polyisocyanate curing agent, the polymerizable unsaturated monomer component (A) contains an epoxy group-containing monomer, a methacrylate having a 3-4C alkyl group and a monomer containing a hydroxy group, and the polymerizable unsaturated monomer component (B) contains a carboxylic group-containing monomer and a hydroxy group-containing monomer, the content of the methacrylate having the 3-4C alkyl group is in the range of 20 to 65 mass%, and the content of the polymerizable unsaturated monomer having a methacryloyl group is in the range of 30 to 90 mass% based on the whole amount of polymerizable unsaturated monomers. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
