<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus adjustment method and an imaging apparatus which reduce time required for image processing while saving a memory capacity. <P>SOLUTION: A correction unit 4 to which a representative correction value is input in association with a pixel adds the representative correction value to a digital image signal from the pixel to make a correction, thereby creating new image data. The image data is input and stored in a storage unit 7 or input to a not-shown display unit to be used to display an image.
