PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain constant a load of pressing a back plate of a pad by a plate spring irrespective of lining wear of the pad.
SOLUTION: The disk brake 100 includes the plate spring 70 having at least a pair of pad pressing parts 72b, 72d which abut on the back plates 41, 51 of the pads 40, 50 and elastically press the pads to a center of a rotor. The plate spring 70 is so arranged that the respective pad pressing parts 72b, 72d extend by a predetermined amount in a rotor shaft direction to outer circumferences of the back plates 41, 51 of the respective pads from a rotor shaft direction intermediate part 71 of the plate spring 70, and inclination angles of the respective pad pressing parts 72b, 72d on the rotor shaft direction intermediate part 71 are maintained irrespective of wear of the linings 42, 52 of the respective pads when the respective pad pressing parts 72b, 72d are engaged with the back plates 41, 51 of the respective pads and are elastically deformed.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
