<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic dictionary capable of intensively studying only related words of an entry word, including derivative words, compound words and idioms. <P>SOLUTION: An electronic dictionary 1 comprises: a dictionary data storage portion 41 for storing an entry word in association with the meaning of the entry word, storing a related word that is related to the entry word in association with the meaning of the related word, and storing the entry word in association with one or more related words; a wordbook data storage portion 42 for storing an entry word that can be used as a question; a questioned wordbook data extraction portion 31 for extracting a question to be asked from the wordbook data storage portion 42; a question output processing portion 32 for accepting a selection of a question to be displayed on a display portion 12 between an entry word and a related word; and a question displaying portion 36 for continuously displaying one or more related words associated with each entry word that are extracted by the questioned wordbook data extraction portion 31, at a predetermined timing on the display portion 12 as a question when the question output processing portion 32 accepts the selection of a related word. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
