<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous two-part clear coating composition suitable for forming a clear coating film having good polishing workability even under forced drying conditions and excellent in finished appearance after polishing. <P>SOLUTION: The aqueous two-part clear coating composition comprises an acrylic resin emulsion (I) prepared by dispersing in water an acrylic resin obtained by polymerizing polymerizable unsaturated monomer components having mutually different compositions separately in multiple stages in the presence of an organic solvent, and a curing agent (II) containing a polyisocyanate component (c1) having an acid radical, wherein a polymerizable unsaturated monomer component (A) as one of the above monomer components comprises an epoxy group-containing monomer (a1), a hydroxyl group-containing monomer (a2) and other monomers (a3), and a polymerizable unsaturated monomer component (B) as the other of the above monomer components comprises a carboxyl group-containing monomer (b1), a hydroxyl group-containing monomer (b2) and other monomers (b3). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
