PURPOSE: A composite bushing for decreasing electric field intensity is provided to alleviate the concentration of an electric field at a top end part of an inner shield by forming a semi-conductive FRP(Fibre-Reinforced Plastic) tube. CONSTITUTION: A bushing comprises a FRP(Fibre-Reinforced Plastic) tube(100), a top and bottom flange(500) which is combined with a top and bottom part of the FRP tube, and a housing(200) which is formed in the outside of the FRP tube. An inner shield(600), which is made of a metal, is formed inside the FRP tube to control electric field concentration at a triple junction point. A semiconducting layer(700) is formed in an inner surface of the FRP tube at a location corresponded to a top end part of the inner shield. The semiconducting layer is formed into a tapered shape in the inner surface of the FRP tube.
