<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing reel which prevents mixing a grease used for a bearing with the magnetic fluid of a magnetic seal mechanism for sealing the grease, and is high in water tightness and rotation performance. <P>SOLUTION: In the fishing reel, the reel body of the fishing reel has a driving portion 21a rotatably driven by the rotation operation of a handle 3 and has a magnetic property, a one-way clutch 20 disposed in the driving portion 21a, and a magnetic seal mechanism 30 disposed to seal the one-way clutch 20; the magnetic seal mechanism 30 has a magnet 31 disposed at a prescribed interval from the driving portion 21a, a pair of polar plates 32 and 33 for holding the magnet 31 between them, and a magnetic fluid 35 held in a magnetic circuit formed from the magnet 31, polar plates 32 and 33 and the driving portion 21a; and a groove 21A is formed between the magnetic fluid 35 and the one-way clutch 20 in the driving portion 21a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
