MANUFACTURING METHOD OF OPTICAL SHEET, OPTICAL FILTER FOR DISPLAY DEVICE HAVING OPTICAL SHEET MANUFACTURED BY THE MANUFACTURING METHOD AND DISPLAY DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of an optical sheet capable of effectively filling a groove with a resin composition and a filter and a display device capable of improving the contrast.

SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of an optical sheet includes plural unit light transmission parts where are light-transmissible and plural unit light absorption parts disposed in parallel between the unit light transmission parts. A first resin composition containing a resin and a mold release agent is supplied in a mold to form plural light-transmissible unit light transmission parts 2, and grooves 3 having a substantially trapezoidal cross section or a substantially rectangular cross section are formed between the unit light transmission parts 2 in parallel thereto. At least a side surface 3a and a bottom surface 3b of the groove 3 are subjected to a surface modification treatment to resolve the mold release agent residing on the surface 3a and the bottom surface 3b of the groove 3. After resolving the mold release agent, the groove 3 is filled with a second resin composition 4 containing a hardening resin and a light absorbing material, and the filled second resin composition 4 is allowed to harden to form a unit light absorption part 5.
