<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color conversion device in which a value of a specific color is stored in color conversion using a color conversion coefficient group, while improving color reproduction accuracy of the color conversion coefficient group for performing printing with a color reproduction characteristic of a first apparatus by a second apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: A color conversion device includes: an image output part 16 which makes a printer output color data of a color image converted by using a device link profile for converting color data depending on a printing machine into color data depending on a printer; an error determination part 18 which calculates an error between a color value within a device-independent color space obtained from a color reproduction characteristic of the printing machine and a colorimetric value of the color data in the output color image; a color reproduction characteristic correction part 19 which corrects the color value within the device-independent color space of the printing machine until a user sees the error and determines not to regenerate the device link profile; a device link profile generation part 14 which regenerates the device link profile; and a specific color reset part 20 which replaces a value of a specific color in the device link profile with a predetermined value when the user determines not to regenerate the device link profile. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
