<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of suppressing transfer unevenness, density unevenness of an image and the life deterioration of an intermediate transfer unit by suppressing the infiltration of powder smoke toner into the intermediate transfer unit. <P>SOLUTION: In an image forming device PR, an intermediate transfer belt 7 is constituting an intermediate transfer unit 70 together with a belt drive roller 71 which is wound up by the intermediate transfer belt 7 and a counter roller 72 facing the belt drive roller 71, and a powder smoke toner infiltration suppressing device 700 is provided for suppressing the infiltration of powder smoke toner into a space in the intermediate transfer unit. The powder smoke toner can be prevented from sticking to the inner surface of the intermediate transfer belt 7 in the unit and to a first transfer roller 5 to which a first transfer bias is applied by suppressing the infiltration of the powder smoke toner into the intermediate transfer unit by use of the powder smoke toner infiltration suppressing device, thereby enabling to suppress transfer unevenness of a toner image, density unevenness of an image on the recording sheet S and the life deterioration of the intermediate transfer unit due to powder smoke toner. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
