<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce calories in a juice by selectively removing more sucrose than primary sugars, for example, glucose and fructose. <P>SOLUTION: An acceptable flavor profile can be achieved since the primary sugars have a higher perceived sweetness than sucrose.
