PURPOSE: An energy management device for a smart grid is provided to reduce costs which are required to fit to peak demands by communicating power Information between a consumer and a supplier in real time. CONSTITUTION: A communications unit bidirectionally communicates with an apparatus for measurement or an electrical apparatus. Set up information is inputted in an input unit(220) by a user. A display unit(240) indicates power Information of the apparatus for measurement or information of the electrical apparatus. A controller(230) receives the set up information, the power Information, and the information for electrical apparatus through the input unit or the communications unit. The controller controls the display unit and an operation of the electrical apparatus.
