<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of setting a product feed pitch of a product mounting machine that easily and correctly sets a feed pitch of a product tape. <P>SOLUTION: The method is to set the feed pitch of the product tape 223 and includes an initial pitch acquisition step (S202) which acquires an initial feed pitch smaller than the minimum feed pitch among a plurality of kinds of product tapes, initial tape feed steps (S206, S302, S308, S314) which make the mounting machine perform a plurality of times of tape feeds at the initial feed pitch, product existence detecting steps (S208, S304, S310, S316) which detect whether the product 230 exists in the predetermined position, and feed pitch setting steps (S218, S306, S312, S318) which set a distance between adjacent products 230 that is detected being in the product existence detecting step into the feed pitch of the product tape 223. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
