<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for biologically treating organic drainage which efficiently removes an organic substance in drainage, reduces the volume of generated sludge by increasing a ratio of a microbe to efficiently carry out predation of dispersed sludge and also enabling a reduction in mixing of nitrogen into treated water; and also to provide an apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The method for biologically treating the organic drainage comprises: in a first aerobic treatment tank 1, aerobically treating the organic drainage under the presence of bacteria to transform the organic substance in the drainage to a fungus body and generating sludge containing dispersed fungus body; in a second aerobic treatment tank 2, aerobically treating a treated liquid in the first aerobic treatment tank 1 to carry out predation of the dispersed fungus body by the microbe; and in an oxygen-free treatment tank 3, keeping a reaction liquid or sludge in the second aerobic treatment tank 2 in an oxygen-free state, reducing nitric acid to nitrogen to remove it and recirculating to the second aerobic treatment tank 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
