PURPOSE: A positive photo-sensitive resin composition, a method for forming a cured film, an organic electroluminescent display device, and a liquid crystal display device are provided to suppress the generation of developing scum and to improve heat-resistant transparency and strength. CONSTITUTION: A positive photo-sensitive resin composition includes resin and an acid generator represented by chemical formula I. The resin includes a structural unit with an acid dissociating group, and a structural unit with a function group which forms a covalent bond based on a reaction with carboxylic group or phenolic hydroxyl group. In chemical formula I, the R1 is hydrogen element, alkyl group, alkenyl group, alkoxy group, alkoxycarbonyl group, acyl group, carbamoyl, sulfamoyl group, sulfo group, cyano group, aryl group, or heteroaryl group; the R2 is alkyl group or aryl group; the R3 and the R4 are respectively hydrogen element, alkyl group, alkenyl group, alkoxy group, alkoxycarbonyl group, carbonyl group, or aryl group; the X is -O-, -S-, -NH-, -NR5-, -CH_2-, -CR6H-, or -CR6R7-; the R5 and the R7 are respectively alkyl group or aryl group; and the R1 and the R5 or the R7 are or the R3 and the R4 are capable of forming a ring. |
