<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor light-emitting element having high reliability, a light-emitting device having the semiconductor light-emitting element, and a lighting unit and a display unit having the light-emitting device. <P>SOLUTION: A semiconductor light-emitting element 100 has a first semiconductor layer for light emission in which an n-type semiconductor sublayer 112, an active sublayer (not shown), and a p-type semiconductor sublayer 113 are stacked on a substrate 1; and a second semiconductor layer for light emission in which an n-type semiconductor sublayer 122 for light emission, an active sublayer (not shown), and a p-type semiconductor sublayer 123 are stacked on the substrate 1. Additionally, the semiconductor light-emitting element 100 has a first semiconductor layer for protection in which an n-type semiconductor sublayer 212 for protection, an active sublayer (not shown), and a p-type semiconductor sublayer 213 are stacked; and a second semiconductor layer for protection in which an n-type semiconductor sublayer 222 for protection, an active layer (not shown), and a p-type semiconductor sublayer 223 are stacked. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
