摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an output prediction device of a photovoltaic facility that is capable of accurately predicting future output of the photovoltaic facility connected to a power system and of contributing to efficiency of system operation. <P>SOLUTION: A cloudiness calculation part 11 uses image data acquired through a weather satellite to calculate an amount of cloud in each mesh area that is obtained by preliminarily zoning the whole area of a power system connected to a photovoltaic facility. A correlation information storage part 13 preliminarily stores information on correlation between an amount of insolation in a mesh area in a place where the photovoltaic facility is installed and an amount of cloud in a mesh area in one or more specific points showing a strong correlation. An insolation calculation part 12 calculates the amount of insolation in the mesh area in the place where the photovoltaic facility is installed, based on the amount of cloud in the mesh area in the specific points and the correlation information in the correlation information storage part 13.
