<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable communication device with an improved user interface and an input method for the portable communication device. <P>SOLUTION: A portable communication device with a processor and a touch display and an input method for the portable communication device are disclosed. The invention particularly includes displaying a touch keypad comprising a set of keys, detecting an object over one key of the set of keys, and displaying, upon detection of the object, a first sub-set of keys adjacent to the one key.
