摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coated optical fiber having a transmission loss of a reduced increasing amount even if being bent into a small diameter and suppressing microbend loss; and to provide a photoelectric composite cable using the same. <P>SOLUTION: A coated optical fiber 1 is formed by coating an optical fiber wire 4 which is formed by forming a cladding layer 3 composed of resin having a refractive index lower than that of a core glass 2 around the outer periphery of the core glass 2 composed of silica glass with a two-layered resin coating layer 5 of an inner coating layer 6 and an outer coating layer 7. The core diameter of the core glass 2 is not less than 50 &mu;m and not more than 100 &mu;m, a relative refractive index difference between the core glass 2 and the cladding layer 3 is 3.7% or more, a Young's modulus Ei of the inner coating layer 6 is not less than 0.2 MPa and not more than 0.6 MPa, and a Young's modulus Eo of the outer coating layer 7 is not less than 1000 MPa and not more than 1800 MPa. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
