<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carrier excellent in toner spent resistance, wear resistance (resistance against scraping or peeling) of a coating film, and to provide developer containing the carrier, a container with developer containing the developer, and an image forming method and a process cartridge using the developer. <P>SOLUTION: A carrier for an electrostatic latent image developer comprises a core particle having magnetism and a resin layer coating the particle surface. The resin layer contains a resin prepared by heat treatment of a copolymer containing at least a trialkoxysilane acrylate or methacrylate and a dialkoxyalkylsilane acrylate or methacrylate. The resin layer contains a crosslinked product obtained by hydrolyzing the above copolymer to produce a silanol group and then condense it by using an organotitanium compound. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
