<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method that can stably manufacture an electrolytic capacitor having a high electrical characteristic. <P>SOLUTION: A method of manufacturing an electrolytic capacitor has a first step and a second step. The electrolytic capacitor manufactured by this method has an electrolytic capacitor element, and the capacitor element comprises an anode body formed of a porous sintered material, and a dielectric layer formed on the outer peripheral surface of the anode body and on the inner wall surfaces of plural holes existing in the anode body. In the first step, a part of the outer peripheral surface of a porous sintered material 50 serving as the anode body is brought into contact with a liquid level 701a of chemical solution 701, and the chemical solution 701 is made to infiltrate into the plural holes existing in the porous sintered material 50, thereby chemically or electrochemically oxidizing the inner wall surfaces of the holes. Thereafter, in the second step, the porous sintered material 50 is immersed in the chemical solution to chemically or electrochemically oxidize at least the outer peripheral surface of the porous sintered material 50. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
