<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dust collector that can prevent dust sucked therein from passing therethrough without being removed therefrom and being sucked into a vacuum cleaner body. <P>SOLUTION: The dust collector includes: a cyclone space 31 provided between the inner surface of the body 8 of a dust box and the outer peripheral surface of a primary filter 21 arranged within the body 8 of the dust box; a dust accumulation space (not shown in Fig.) arranged below the cyclone space 31; a secondary filter 23 provided above the primary filter 21; a cover 11 provided above the body 8 of the dust box; and a protrusion 60 formed in a dust removing part 24 arranged above the secondary filter 23. The dust collector is provided, at a position relative to the protrusion 60 of the cover 11, with a sliding body 61 that protrudes from the outer peripheral lower end of the cover 11 in the peripheral direction and in an in-and-out manner. The sliding body 61 protruding from the cover 11 is configured to, only when the secondary filter 23 is mounted thereon, abut on the protrusion 60 and come in the inner peripheral direction so that the cover 11 can be mounted to the body 8 of the dust box. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
