<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint structure of a shaft and a universal-joint yoke that can ensure necessary bending angle at the time of collision and stably absorb shock. <P>SOLUTION: At the time of collision of vehicle, a second end 5b of an intermediate shaft 5 that is relatively moved along a bottom plate 22 of a first yoke 17 of a second universal joint 6 is pushed in a direction Y1 crossing a moving direction X1 by a cam face 25 of a projection 24 provided in the bottom plate 22. Thus, the intermediate shaft 5 is bent to the bottom plate 22. By virtue of a slit provided in the bottom plate 22, a part 26 of the bottom plate 22 is surely deformed by bending.
