<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power system capable of restricting power loss so as to reduce power consumption. <P>SOLUTION: The electric power system 1 includes: an input section 4 to which a DC electric power 2 of a predetermined voltage Vin is connected; connection sections 5A-5C to which external apparatuses 3A-3C are connected; and a system current control section 6 which controls a system current Is flowing from the input section 4 to the connection sections 5A-5C. The connection sections 5A-5C are configured to be connected so that constant-voltage circuits 8A-8C of the external apparatuses 3A-3C are connected in series between input terminals 4a, 4b of the input section 4. A current value of a system current Is is controlled to a minimum current value necessary for stable operations of the constant-voltage circuits 8A-8C. Since the constant-voltage circuits 8A-8C are connected in series, an electric current used in the constant-voltage circuit 8A is reused in the constant-voltage circuit 8B, and the electric current used in the constant-voltage circuit 8B is reused in the constant-voltage circuit 8C.
