<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a mold by which the mold inconspicuous in a part where a groove cut by a sharp bite and a groove cut by a bite made not sharp are adjacent to each other and in the shade unevenness of appearance is manufactured, to provide the mold manufactured by the method, an optical functional sheet manufactured using the mold, an optical sheet with the optical functional sheet, and a video image display device with the optical sheet. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided the method of manufacturing the mold which includes a plurality of the grooves cut in parallel to the outer circumferential surface of a cylindrical body and crest parts formed between the grooves, wherein the turn to cut the grooves is different from the order of the arrangement of the grooves. The mold is manufactured by the method. The optical functional sheet is obtained by using the mold.
