<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shared file management system capable of more efficiently managing a shared file. <P>SOLUTION: A server 10 includes: a storage unit 11 for storing a shared file; a state control unit 12 for making the shared file into a locked state or an unlocked state on the basis of a request from a client; a state information storage unit 13 for storing state information indicating whether the shared file is in the locked state or in the unlocked state; a reservation unit 14 for reserving the shared file in the locked state so that another client can edit the shared file as soon as the shared file comes into the unlocked state; a state information output unit 15 for making the client output the state information of the shared file; a forced termination unit 16 for forcibly making the shared file in the locked state over a long period into the unlocked state; and a communication unit 17 for communicating with the client via a LAN. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
