<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an assay method for performing real-time measurement during coupling reaction while having high sensitivity and accuracy, and a plasmon excitation sensor. <P>SOLUTION: The assay method uses the plasmon excitation sensor which is provided with a metallic member, a first ligand, and a fluorescence dye precursor developer that causes coloring reaction with a fluorescence dye precursor, and the assay method and the plasmon excitation sensor have the following processes (a) to (c): process (a) for contacting analyte solution with the plasmon excitation sensor to fix the analyte; process (b) for obtaining fluorescence dye by having the fluorescence dye precursor developer react to the plasmon excitation sensor to which the analyte is fixed; and a process (c) for exciting the fluorescence dye by radiating excitation light to a metal member to measure an amount of emitted fluorescence. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
