<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To supply sufficient electric power to a motor during a high torque operation, and to effectively use regeneration energy generated by the motor during a deceleration operation. <P>SOLUTION: A step-up/down circuit 29 performs any one of a step-up operation for stepping-up input voltage and outputting the stepped-up voltage, a step-down operation for stepping-down input voltage and outputting the stepped-down voltage, and a non-step-up/down operation for outputting the input voltage as it is. A controller 27, when set to an automatic mode, automatically switches the operation state of the step-up/down circuit 29 according to the operation state of the motor M, when set to a high torque mode, controls the operation of the step-up/down circuit 29 so that the step-up operation is performed, and when set to an energy saving mode, controls the operation of the step-up/down circuit 29 so that a step-down operation is performed. The controller 27 has a function of controlling the operation of the step-up/down circuit 29 so that the regeneration energy can be accumulated in an inductor L1, and a function of controlling the operation of the step-up/down circuit 29 so that the dynamic brakes are applied to the motor M. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
