<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an identification plate having merchandise information, and an identification plate fastening device for mounting the identification plate which is easily and surely mounted and does not come off merchandise after mounted, thereby preventing the management and camouflage of the merchandise, and to make the manufacture easy and low in cost. <P>SOLUTION: The fastening device for attaching the identification plate 4 having a through hole includes a male part 2, a female part 3, and a band for connecting them. The male part 2 is provided with locking parts 2f, 2g for mounting the identification plate 4, and the male part 2 and the female part 3 are engaged with each other by a connecting part 2d and connecting claws 3c, 3d.
