<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of treating raw water using an acidic flocculant essentially unaffected by various factors of raw water. <P>SOLUTION: In the method of treating raw material, a cubicle area is disposed in a treatment tank. A multi-surface contact material serving as a heterogeneous catalyst is arranged internally in the cubicle area, and the acidic flocculant and an alkali agent of a homogeneous catalyst in such a chemical equivalent as to adjust the pH of the acid flocculant from weakly acid to weakly alkaline are added to the cubicle area. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
