<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DC motor where whole length of the motor is shortened and life of the motor is prolonged. <P>SOLUTION: The DC motor includes: a cylindrical metal case 16; a magnet 20 which is arranged along an inner face of the metal case 16 and has four or above magnetic poles in a circumferential direction; an armature which is disposed by facing the magnet 20 and is constituted of a core 46 and winding; and a shaft 22. The magnet 20 is constituted of a material whose maximum energy product BHmax is 3 to 6 MGOe. When thickness of the magnet in a radial direction of the armature is set to be T[mm] and an outer diameter of a core to be d[mm], a ratio T/d of the thickness T of the magnet to the outer diameter d of the core is 0.16 or above. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
