摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of an on-vehicle internal combustion engine capable of preventing the internal combustion engine from starting up automatically on the basis of false information on an crank angle, preventing an exhaust property from deteriorating, and preventing a normal completion of an automatic startup from failing. <P>SOLUTION: An electronic control device 100 which corresponds to a control device of an on-vehicle internal combustion engine includes cam position sensors 106, 107 each of which, even when respective camshafts 60, 70 are stopped, can output a cam angle signal based on a rotation phase thereof. After a crankshaft 50 is stopped, the electronic control device 100 compares a range of a crank angle estimated from the output cam angle signal, with a value of a previously-stored crank counter, and performs a start-up in a normal start-up mode, without using the value of the stored crank counter if the value of the stored crank counter is out of the range of the estimated crank angle. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
