<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus including a zoom lens whose total length is easily prevented from increasing while securing a variable power ratio and also that is advantageous for securing optical performance. <P>SOLUTION: The zoom lens comprises, in order from an object side to an image side, a first lens group having positive refractive power that has a reflection member including a reflecting surface for reflecting an optical path, a second lens group having negative refractive power, and a rear lens group having the positive refractive power as a whole that has at least two lens groups including a third lens group and a fourth lens group in order from the object side. In the zoom lens, a brightness diaphragm is arranged between the second lens group and the fourth lens group. When power varies from a wide angle end to a telephoto end, the first lens group is fixed, the second lens group is moved so as to be positioned on the image side in the telephoto end rather than the wide angle end, and spaces between each lens group vary. The second lens group has a plurality of negative lenses, in the case where a negative lens arranged at the nearest position to the object in the plurality of the negative lenses is defined as a first negative lens, a predetermined conditional expression is satisfied. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
