<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a lift platform from falling and inclining when a lifting chain of a level difference resolving machine is cut off. <P>SOLUTION: Four sprockets are respectively mounted on the upper and lower rotary shafts of a pair of struts provided vertically along the lift platform for arranging 4-system endless roller chains. The upper four and the lower two of sprockets on both ends are follower ones; the middle two ones on the lower side are fixed on the lower rotary shaft and driven by a drive motor. Part of each endless roller chain is fixed on one edge of the lift platform via a connection support member to move the lift platform up and down by the vertical motions. A rod-like protrusion that faces to the other side is provided on the each side of two right and left sprockets on the lower side. When the endless roller chains work normally, the facing rod-like protrusions do not contact with each other but swivel. When any of the middle two endless roller chains is cut off, the outer one of the cut-off endless roller chains moves to swivel the lower follower sprockets to have the facing rod-like protrusions contact with each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
