<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of a conventional stereoscopic video display device in which a viewer is not able to recognize the degree of his or her asthenopia, so that the viewer continues viewing to increase a burden on the eyes. <P>SOLUTION: A stereoscopic video display device capable of displaying a stereoscopic video is provided with: a display part for displaying the stereoscopic video and an image for measurement of the degree of asthenopia; a measurement image storage part for storing the image for measurement of the degree of asthenopia; an image processing part for correcting the image for measurement of the degree of asthenopia; a remote control signal reception part for receiving a request for measurement of the degree of asthenopia as a remote control signal from a remote controller; a storage part for storing vision information of the viewer and viewing distance information; and a control part which when the remote control signal reception part receives the request for measurement of the degree of asthenopia, controls the image processing part to correct the image for measurement of the degree of asthenopia according to the vision information and the viewing distance information stored in the storage part, and switches the corrected image for measurement of the degree of asthenopia to the stereoscopic video to be displayed on the display part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
