WEFT KNITTED FABRIC, METHOD THEREOF AND CLOTHING PRODUCED BY USING THE WEFT KNITTED FABRIC

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weft knitted fabric which has high stretchability and soft feeling and is thin and light; a manufacturing method thereof; and clothing produced using the weft knitted fabric.

SOLUTION: A sheath-core conjugate elastic fiber yarn (A) where an polyurethane-based elastomer is arranged in a core and a polyester-based polymer or a polyamide-based polymer having a 1/2-method melting temperature of 170 to 225°C is arranged in a sheath and a non-elastic fiber yarn (B) are each fed to the same knitting course of a knitting machine; the non-elastic fiber yarn (B) is selectively guided and controlled into a knitting position or a missing position at each needle in a knitting section; and they are knitted to produce a single weft knitted fabric.
