<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To exert illuminating device lighting control in which the intention of a photographer is reflected when photographing is carried out with an exposure control value fixed. <P>SOLUTION: In the imaging apparatus able to carry out photographing using an illuminating device whose lighting state is controlled based on a subject luminance, in a case of an fixed exposure state in which an exposure control value calculated based on the subject luminance is fixed for use as exposure control, the lighting state of the illuminating device is not altered based on the subject luminance. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
