PURPOSE: A heterogeneous application sharing system and method thereof are provided to increase the interesting of a user by enabling the user to execute heterogeneous application in the portable terminal of the user. CONSTITUTION: A terminal performance evaluation server(138) transmits evaluation images to a portable terminal. The terminal performance evaluation server determines the performance level of the portable terminal. A screen capture server(134) captures images or the evaluation image. The screen capture server divides the captured image or the captured evaluation image into lattice image pieces. An encoding server(136) encodes the image of the heterogeneous application or the evaluation image.
