<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable keeping a fall detection report device in an unspecified place and state when not in use. <P>SOLUTION: The fall detection report device having a built-in inclination detection sensor for detecting a fall of a person incorporates a reed switch for detecting magnet to control operability/inoperability of the inclination detection sensor depending on an operation state of the reed switch for detecting magnet.
