摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate an EGR control delay when shifted from an idle state to acceleration. <P>SOLUTION: In an internal combustion engine 0 including a low-pressure-loop exhaust-gas recirculation device, a bypass passage 7 is provided to connect between the upstream side of an intake throttle valve 35 and the downstream side of a throttle valve 33. The EGR valve 22 is opened when shifted to an idle state. Then after the elapse of required time, the EGR valve 22 is closed, the throttle valve 33 and the intake throttle valve 35 are closed, and the bypass valve 71 is opened. By this, EGR gas can be accumulated in the path from the EGR valve 22 to the throttle valve 33.
