<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To record broadcast data in a storage medium normally even when broadcast data received by a receiving device cannot be normally recorded in the storage medium. <P>SOLUTION: A PC 10A identifies a broadcast data part which could not be recorded normally and notifies a server 1. The server 1 identifies a PC 10B where the same broadcast data part as the broadcast data part which could not be recorded normally is recorded. The PC 10B transmits the broadcast data part which could be recorded normally corresponding to the broadcast data part which could not be recorded normally, to the PC 10A.
