<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical scanning device and an image forming apparatus improving color matching accuracy of color image printing by reducing bending of a scanline generated by nonuniform temperature distribution of the optical scanning device due to a difference from an ambient temperature and heat generation of the interior of the optical scanning device. <P>SOLUTION: In an optical scanning device 101 disposed with a light deflector 107 and the like in a casing 104, a first temperature regulating machine 121 regulates the temperature of internal gas of the casing, and second temperature regulating means 131 regulates the temperature of the light deflector 107. Target temperatures by which the first temperature regulating means and the second temperature regulating means regulate the temperatures are set based on the result when temperature detecting means detects an ambient temperature inside the housing 100 in which the casing 104 is disposed. Temperature control means controls the temperatures of the gas inside the casing 104 and the light deflector 107 to become equal to the ambient temperature inside the housing 100. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
