<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display plate fixing structure in an instrument for a vehicle, capable of alleviating stress which acts on the electrical connection 12 by wiring pins 10 by thermal deformation of holders 2 and 4 for holding a display plate 1, in a structure in which the display plate 1 and the circuit section 11 of a liquid crystal display device are connected to each other by the electrical connection 12 via the wiring pin 10. <P>SOLUTION: The structure includes: a display plate 1 held on the front side of an opening 3 of the holders 2 and 4 of a meter case made of the molding of a synthetic resin; the circuit section 11 connected to the meter case at the rear side of the opening 3; the plurality of wiring pins 10 which connect the display plate 1 to the circuit section 11; the electrical connection 12 for connecting the wiring pins 10 to the circuit section; and elastic pieces 5a, 5b and 5c, integrally molded with the meter case. Thereby, the display plate 1 is held in a hanging state by the elastic pieces 5a, 5b and 5c located at a plurality of places, and the stress which acts on the wiring pin 10 by thermal deformation is alleviated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
