ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC CARRIER, AND DEVELOPER, IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS, PROCESS CARTRIDGE AND CONTAINER CONTAINING DEVELOPER USING THE CARRIER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic carrier and the like, having excellent toner spent resistance and wear resistance and showing little changes in a toner charge amount and in picture quality over a long period of time.

SOLUTION: The electrophotographic carrier comprises a core material and a coating layer formed by applying and drying a coating layer liquid containing a binder resin on a surface of the core material. The binder resin comprises at least a silicone resin (A) expressed by general formula (1):-(SiR1R2O)a-(SiR3XO)b-, an alkoxyalkylated polyamide resin (B) and at least one compound (C) of reactive surfactants expressed by one of general formula (2):Q-(-CONH-G-NHCO-J-)m-CONH-G-NHCO-Y and general formula (3):Q-(-CONH-G-NHCO-J-)m-OH. The component (B) has a dispersion diameter of 1 μm or less in the coating layer liquid.
