The stick, which is rubbed on stains in textiles before washing, contains a) 5-25 esp. 7.5-20 wt.% Na soap b) 25-60 esp. 30-50 wt.% of a non-ionic surfact- and mixt. of lower and higher ethoxylated alkylphenols or prim. alcohols c) 10-50 esp. 15-40 wt.% >=1 2-4C alcohol and d) 3-25 esp. 5-20 wt.% water. a) is Na soap of (6-22C fatty acid, b) is a mixt. of >=1 10-18C linear alkyl phenol or prim. alcohol ethoxylate contg. av. 2-5 glycol ether gps. and >=1 14-20C lin. alkylphenol or prim. alcohol ethoxylate contg. av. 7-15 glycol ether gps., ratio lower:higher being 1:u to 1:5. Stick does not dry out during storage and its effective against fatty stains.
