METHOD FOR DEVELOPING GENE SPECIFIC MOLECULAR MARKERS FOR DISCRIMINATINIG SOYBEAN CULTIVARS

PURPOSE: A method for developing gene-specific molecular marker is provided to distinguish soybean species and to search difference of SNP by soybean species. CONSTITUTION: A method for developing a molecular marker comprises: a step of extracting genomic DNA by soybean species; a step of searching soybean-like MYB gene having similar sequence with MYB R2R3 repetitive sequence of Arabidopsis of sequence number 41 from soybean DNA sequence database; a step of searching a gene which is similar to the soybean MYB gene; a step of searching a promoter site of the gene from Medicago truncatula DNA database; a step of designing a PCR primer for amplifying a specific site of the primer; a step of amplifying the genome DNA; and a step of observing and analyzing polymorphism at the promoter site.
