PURPOSE: An image processing apparatus, an image processing method thereof, and a display method thereof are provided to determine a stretching area of variable size through energy value and to generate a target image through a determined area. CONSTITUTION: A receiving unit(110) receives a reference image and depth information. A controlling unit(120) determines a stretching area of variable size through the energy value of a background image of an object. An image processing unit(130) shifts an object which is displayed to the reference image according to the depth information. The image processing unit inserts a pixel of the stretching area to a hole area which is generated by the shift of the object. The image processing unit generates a target image.
